I feel the exact same-though I never, ever would have wanted to get cancer or for anyone else to have be handed this garbage, I am incredibly thankful to the incredible friendships I've forged along the way. I agree, not all "cancer people" are my kind of people, but the ones I do connect with-which I've been fortunate enough to be able to say is alot-I've got such an amazing bond with and I honestly don't think I could have gotten through 2 transplants without many of the people that were complete strangers at the beginning of this journey.
